ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Three consecutive nominations, two wins under the ‘Rock Adult Contemporary’ category, three performances three years in a row at the NMMA (New Mexico Music Awards) all of which were garnered from this CD make this a 'must hear' album. They have performed over the past few years at various festivals such as the Hyperactive Music Festival and most recently at this year’s Thirsty Ear Festival (on a bill with artists such as Keb’ Mo’, Bela Fleck and Steel Pulse). The material on the CD reflects the flow of unique life experiences and the themes that tie us all together—fear, love, joy and sorrow and how we manage to somehow to draw the strength and the resiliency needed to pick ourselves up by our bootstraps when we feel we’ve hit the ground. Grey's smokey alto voice gives her a hard rock feel, while acoustic guitars soften the sound, which takes the dullnes out of adult contamporary. Drawing from Classic Heart to Sheryl Crow these influences are but one component of irristable rock adult contemporary laced with the bittersweet lyrical grit of life experiance.
