Critical Mass (CARMONA....SEE LATEST NEWS BELOW!!!!!)is a rock band emerging out of Charlotte, NC. It's members have very diverse backgrounds from differnt parts of the country and varying musical influences. Committed to trying to capture the true essence of what rock and roll used to be, combining it with newer influences, and staying true to the guitar driven rock that flows freely from the band, Critical Mass is more than "just another rock band". The debut album from Critical Mass, "Juxtaposition", was recorded in early November of 2003 and is compiled of songs written over the course of the year. Critical Mass has received an overwhelming response to the songs from live show audiences as well as from venue owners. They continue to "wow" their fans with a gripping show and emotion that comes from the passion that they have for their music. Critical Mass is truly a "must see" live act, that should prove to make their place in the rock world. After having much success, one thing kept happening to the band....before being heard they were often being "pegged as a heavy metal" band. So...in order to come up with a name much conversation insued. Finally the decision was made to call the band CARMONA. The response has been positive and their first release under this name "7 Days A Week" will prove to be a phenominal addition to anyone's collection.
