Album Notes

The Chris Robinson Trio " Live @ The Corner" is the
debut Cd from New York pianist, Chris Robinson.
He began his training at The Dance Theatre of Harlem
in theory, were he acquired an intrest in the piano.

Chris began playing in the church, talent shows, and gigs
with local jazz and R&B bands in various New York clubs.
He also attended Rutgers University (NCAS) were he received
a B.A. in music

Now living in Singapore, Chris has been active in the music
community as he continues to perform and perfect his craft.

"Live @ the Corner" is a very soothing cd. The performance of Mr. Robinson with sidemen Will Gathright, and Darryl Ervin is very good. Hearing this cd makes me think of Keith Jarret and his trio work. I'm looking forward to the next cd!

The music on this cd is great! I'm not a jazz purist, but i do know that the songs on this cd really touch me. I thoroughly enjoyed the music and i listen to it constantly.
