Crossing 13th is organic pop-rock with balls. Drawing from influences such as Matchbox Twenty, O.A.R., Led Zeppelin, Metallica, The Beatles, and Tower of Power these talented musicians have formed a distinctive sound that combines the energy of pop, the hard drive of rock, and the occasional slick groove of funk.

Blaine Vogt, Andy Mikkelson, Tim Sieroslawski, and Jarred Venti have had a busy 2008. Winning the Salem Battle of the Bands they were given a showcase performance in April, and filled the 285 seat auditorium. They debuted their first self-produced full-length album Superstar/Circus Clown in April as well, earning rave reviews. Since then Crossing 13th have played shows throughout Oregon, including the Bite of Salem, gaining the attention of music fans of all ages.

Crossing 13th is getting ready to return to the studio to record their second album, with tasty new material that can only be described as an intense and satisfying musical experience. Keep watching; this band is just getting warmed up.
