They have a shared spirit for traditional, uncontrived acoustic music. Bruce Lawson and Jen Carter-Kelly have evolved into Crossing North, a duo that respects the past while creating their own unmistakable spare, sweet sound.

Built on a framework of close, two-part harmony, Crossing North performs music at the intersection of acoustic country, folk and bluegrass.

They released their first CD, “Late Night Songs”, in May 2004. "Fragile" their second CD, was released in November, 2006.

Crossing North performs original music, plus new versions of a few great tunes made popular by artists they admire.

Crossing North performs at festivals, concerts, and as opening act for touring artists like The Gibson Brothers.

Crossing North built a fan base by performing throughout the Champlain Valley region of New York and Vermont. They have now toured NH, ME, MA, DE, PA, NJ, NYC and make regular visits to Montreal, Canada.
