Album Notes

CrownClassic is the dynamic group of the south. The focus of CrownClassic is to progress on what's coming out of the southern hip-hop scene. With a collection of intricately composed tracks produced by the Bedouin Production Group, CrownClassic aims to put Decatur on the map and keep Atlanta at the top of the rap game.

Creative lyrics from F.O.D.(Far Out Dare), Highjinx, and P.T.A.D.(Party Time After Death) showcase the lyrical skill, charming wit' and story-telling ability that these three MC's possess. CrownClassic was formed in 97'-98'by P.T.A.D., F.O.D., and HB from Bedouin Productions. The group went on to do numerous shows around Atlanta including Georgia Tech and local nightclub spots like Club 112. In late 2000 Highjinx was added to the group. CrownClassic has since recorded their self titled debut album and is steadily on the rise. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for CrownClassic.

Oh boy!!!
author: Shawnta'
I didnt expect the cd to sound as good as it was. It seems like everyone wants to be in the music industry these days, but this group deserves to be there. The cd was off the hook. Cover ya Ass is off the chain and face ass is funny as hell. Good luck to those guys, and I hope Dr. Dre, Outkast, Timbaland, and Def Jam South is paying attention and listening...cause these boys is doin' it!!!!

funky unorthodox production that blends well with thought provoking words

In a whole, the cd was very good. Some tracks such as Shawdy, Welcome to Decatur and Cover Yo Ass stood out more than the others but they were all worth listening to. If you want to hear what the new south sounds like, take a listen to CrownClassic.
