I have liked the Conte brothers ever since Co. of Wolves, the style is just, right down my alley, good solid rock.

What can I say about this CD other than it's like the my absolute favorite combination of Crown Jewels. Steve and John are the greatest. I don't think I know what a bad Crown Jewels song is. I would recommend this great combination of songs to anyone. Hurry and buy it, cus there are only 100 and I got one!!!

Tasty rock music that won't offend your grandmother

John and Steve Conte are musical geniuses. As ashamed as I am to use the cliche, they've selected their best to create "a soundtrack to my life." Maybe it's because "Toughest Girl in the Neighborhood" hits a little too close to home (Fortunately, the same can't be said for "She Got No Hair"). There's something a little indie, a little rock, with a lot of originality on "Bubble & Squeak" like the early 90's distilled into one CD. It reminds me possibly of my old Matthew Sweet tapes or the sadly short-lived Magnificent Bastards. Underneath all their song is guitar-driven rock simplicity. Plus it's the best of the best songs on one cd! Buy it and listen to it while drinking a Chambord Royale on your porch during the summer.
