Album Notes

Crown of Glory represent power, wonderful and catchy melodies, wicked choral lines and significant lyrics. The band is best placed in the field of melodic metal, with influences from AOR and power metal. Fans of Europe, Pretty Maids, Stratovarius, Royal Hunt and Edguy won’t be disappointed by the sound of this powerful five-piece from Switzerland. As a proof, the mini CD’s “Destiny” (2001) and “Spirit” (2005) received excellent reviews worldwide. “Destiny” also was chosen as ‘demo of the month’ by German magazine “Break Out”!On several occasions, Crown of Glory have been able to show their potential live on stage, for instance as opener for Doro, Axel Rudi Pell, Blaze, Bruce Kulick, Candlemass and Shakra. During the time of their existence, they have played approximately 15 - 20 gigs per year throughout Switzerland and Southern Germany.Crown of Glory produced their first long player “A Deep Breath of Life” at the House of Audio Studios in Karlsdorf (Germany) and the final touch to the CD was given by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69) who also mixed the album. This record is the result of a thoroughgoing forge ahead of the band whose path started from scratch in 1998, and against all odds the band never lost their love for this kind of music and their belief in Heavy Metal.Crown of Glory live on stage is a must to see – hmm or rather to hear… you definitively have to EXPERIENCE them !
