Michael Crowther is an award-winning composer / multi-instrumentalist with over 30 years
experience in the entertainment industry. Michael began playing music at the age of four and is
skilled on several different instruments as well as musical styles. His credits include a wide
variety of scores for film, television and theatrical productions with much of his catalog available for
licensing through his production company, MICHAEL CROWTHER MUSIC PRODUCTIONS.
His first full-length instrumental album, A MOMENT IN TIME, received international recognition
with radio air-play in the US and throughout Europe. Several compositions from that album were
featured in movies, and in 2001, Michael was honored with an award for, BEST "NEW" NEW
AGE ARTISTS OF 2001' from the SONGWRITER'S NETWORK. The award was based on a radio
survey of over 3 million listeners worldwide! Many devoted supporters of Michael's music have
described his work as music filled with emotion and imagery. As a film composer, this dramatic
approach carries over into his albums which take the listener on a visual ride through the mind's
eye. His new album, MUSIC BOX, also features music composed for films as well as a variety of
instrumental styles including New Age, Jazz, Blues, Latin, World, Orchestral and Romantic
themes. In addition to scoring for live action films, Michael has recently been writing for animated
films and various forms of children's programming and entertainment. His ongoing commitment to
the study of ancient to modern music from all parts of the globe has taken his musical vision to
new heights as he strives to incorporate that knowledge into his work.

highly hauntingly evocative -- often seems like the score for a movie
author: Marilyn von FunkI love the images which are conjured up in my mind from hearing this music, with its haunting, ever-changing melodies. House of Marionettes is my favourite and how this album came to my attention on Nightscapes.com. The pieces are varied in tempo but not in complexity -- intricately beautiful.
This album is pretty awesome
author: Mike JamesFor anyone who is into great instrumental pieces or want to get into instrumental music, this is the album to get. Every song has different feels and arrangements. It is an inspiring and amazing record to get into. As a listener and a musician I suggest picking up a copy.
Fantastic! I listen to it over and over again.
author: Sandy WebsterI love this CD. It has a pleasing mixture of smooth, silky melodies and upbeat, eclectic rhythms. The music invokes intriguing imagery for the listener. I am transported to an eerie mansion in one song and lying on a beautiful tropical beach in another. I would highly recommend this CD to ALL! A++
