Overlooked by many, yet surprising those who recognized tha underground representatives of Mississippi, known as Crunk & Buck. Many verses have gone unheard over the span of 14 years, now Crunk & Buck sits and focuses on BLOWIN' UP. It all started on a Karaoke machine, spitting lyrics off of anybody's tracks trying to establish their own unique style. They worked on their lyrics until they felt it was time to record in a real studio, known as Tobie-Town Music, it wasn't the best, but locally it was the begining of somethang major. As the double-Single spread throughout the neighborhood, people responded with enthusiasm and encouragement. Crunk & Buck followed up with 3 more songs recored in Memphis, TN at ARP Studios. The response of the people were even greater, people requesting for more tapes, more shows, more of the Crunk & Buck boyz...
However, being youngsters still being taking care of by their moms(at the time), it was hard to come up with the financial funds needed to complete a full cd. Crunk(Ricco S. Orange-24) & Buck(Roderick B. Webb-23) not coming from the wealthiest family, but well taken care of, and they continued to give them the motivation needed to strive and accomplish their dream...
As time past, and heartfelt lyrics continue to go unheard. They were still local artists struggling to be heard, that's when two other mc's, known as Shatterd' World, decided to put their thoughts and desires together, and from the bottom-up, they created their own recording studio, known as HId City Bump. With the sound of the super-producer, Blackout, they have created the rawiest underground sound out of the state of Mississippi...
