Rob 'Cry Baby' Wilkinson rounded up The Hoochie Coochie Boys in the summer of 2008, to form a six piece dance floor rhythm and blues band. The band are based in the Stoke-On-Trent area of the UK (famously known as The Potteries). Rob and the Boys (Mr.G - Graham Sells, Vince Cutcliffe, Johnny 'Fingers' Davies, Trevor Pinson & Andy Carr) have all been involved in a variety of bands over the years, but have developed a real bond through their love of the blues.

Cry Baby and The Hoochie Coochie Boys are a live band who perform best when they are delivering uptempo rhythm and blues to an audience. The live shows include both original numbers and some classic R&B given the Hoochie Coochie Boys treatment.

Rob's wailing harmonic is the signature for the band, hence the 'Cry Baby' tag which defines the rootsy bluesy sound that makes up Cry Baby and The Hoochie Coochie Boys
