Crystal Siemens is a mother to 2 teenagers, wife to one great guy. Crystal would say that she is just a regular person that has been given a gift and just wants to honor God with what she's been given. Passionately in Love with the Lord Jesus Christ, her desire is to be a true follower and worshiper of Jesus as well as to see others come to know Him in the same way. Up until 2 years ago she led worship a small church outside of Saskatoon. God moved the family to Circle Drive Alliance Church almost two years ago now and even though she doesn't lead worship on stage with a band on a regular basis anymore she believes that you are a leader in worship where ever you are. This project is born out of learning to let God have control in all circumstances and learning to be a "worshiper in spirit & in truth".
A few years ago the idea for this project came into being with the writing of "Treasure" based on Matt 6:19-21"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." The song has a modern Pop/Rock feel.
A few months later during some difficult times "Refuge" was born from a heart that truly wanted to honor God in the midst of personal difficulties. Based on Psalms 25 some key verses are vs 1 & 2 "To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me." & vs 14, 20 & 21 "The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them." "Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you". The song is a mixture of traditional Hymn "The Solid Rock" & ballad type of song.
Now you will find Crystal working at Circle Drive Alliance Church as a receptionist & singing at Women's Encounter events at the church. Her deepest desire is that when you see her she will be a living reflection of God's Love.
