Actress and singer Claire Storey has become a regular of the London cafe scene and her music has already been likened to Suzanne Vega and Dido. 'Heaven Road' has a country air, with sad-sounding accordians and a chorus that is sweetly melancholic, the way Radiohead might sound if they were playing in a Louisiana bar late at night. When a song is stripped down to simply voice, guitar and the odd bit of percussion, there is nowhere left to hide. It needs to be well written and to have a good quality vocal. Luckily, Claire Storey has a strong and melodic voice and her songs sound at times like early Radiohead without the misery. Peoplesound
