Using their inimitable style of humor and rhyme, Charles and Bones share current health and safety information: what kids should do about teasing, having "inside strong," the important of exercising and getting enough rest, eating the right foods, remembering to brush, wearing bike helmets, the difference between good and bad secrets, feeling proud of yourself, finding your own strengths and talents, and more.

Charles The Clown, portrayed by Charles Kraus, is a nationally known children's entertainer/writer/recording artist. The Los Angeles Times called him "A clown for all seasons." Charles was trained as a child abuse prevention education specialist by Bridge: A Way Across, in Los Angeles, and was presenter in over 100 "Aware Child Education" (ACE) programes in three school districts.
