6 years after it's release and still getting good reviews

Captain T and their ‘U.S. Aliens’ EP is surrounded with conspiracy and paranoia. The Sci-fi plot and government cover-up twists blend seamlessly with the sonic, metallic rock - creating a rather unique and exciting record. Captain T is apparently an Ex-CIA agent who wishes to expose the various government and departmental lies through catchy and hard hitting music. Song such as the soaring anthem; ‘America’s Free’ delve into the alien cover ups of area 51. Whilst the riffs flow against you and the vocals soar and dip along the warm air currents above the ocean of guitar. Whereas the rather softer faux love song of; ‘Aqua Blue’ that sets the scene in Las Vegas with plenty of Elvis references and suspicious lyrics. There is a wealth of samples and sound effects interwoven throughout this record and thus create a very deep and layered atmosphere. The EP opens with a cover of Micheal Jackson’s; ‘We Are The World’ which is spooky in it’s delivery – especially once the grating spoken word (where you almost find yourself being directly addressed) kicks in. This is a must for any sci-fi or conspiracy fans out there. Even those of you who only occasionally dabble will find yourselves enthralled - Not only because of the imagination and humor – but also because of the fantastic compositions and musical strength. Their humor is demonstrated in lyrics such as; ‘In Africa, where the children are starving their little...their little butts off. I love the children…’ & ‘I’ve been doing a lot here people and I’m very tired…and drunk and I wanna go home’. ‘Disturbing Abduction’ sounds like a very good Jane’s Addiction song blended with the sensibilities of Powerman 5000 as it’s sonic guitar pulses in waves of processed sound – except this time it is also steeped in stories of abduction and haunting vocals. The frankly hilarious and gripping; ‘Banner (The Incredible Hulk)’ that goes full circle from soaring almost operatic vocals to hard cyber rock and back again as it explores further; the ever popular story of comic book hero – The Hulk. As the record finishes with the melodic, inspired yet blazingly incendiary 80’s metal of; ‘Covert Intelligent’ (think Motley Crue or Skid Row). You will be left - feeling dirty and dark, with cheap whisky on your breath, a case file on your lap and an alien probe up your nose. ‘U.S. Aliens’ is a CD full of gripping, funny and well realized musical concepts.

A must. Buy this CD. It is one the strangest CD I've ever heard and one of my favorites. Alien pop rock with metal and cheese (cheese wiz) on top.
