An excellent work

This is a seamless work of extraordinary complexity. Cheers to Kalib for his lush arrangements and to Pixie for a voice that truly haunts. I haven't been able to put this CD away since I first started listening to it three days ago.

Enjoyed it thoroughly - easy for me to relate to
author: Cindi
I have played your CD several times over the past few days and have enjoyed it thoroughly! Pixie, you and Kalib have a very good thing going on and I'm really happy to have had the chance to listen to and appreciate your music! I especially enjoy I'M YOUR LOVER, with the sounds of the violin, which is my favorite instrument. Your lyrics in all of the songs are easy for me to relate to and the music has a beat that moves me!

One of those rare albums... this EP has it all!
author: Alex Meland
At first listen to Cuir Bleu’s debut EP “Slip Away”, a Tranced Eurythmics/Tech Rock sensibility is apparent. On the second listen, the ears warm up and tune in to the melodic layers within each intricate track of this album. After allowing yourself to flow within Cuir Bleu’s wavelength, all the intricacies and layers of this album flood the senses in a sonic wake. It’s one of those rare albums that bestow uniqueness with each listen. Lead singer Pixie possesses great range with soulfully rich vocals. Pixie is a perfect complement to Cuir Bleu’s talented keyboardist Kalib. From emotionally driven tech rock songs to drum and bass rhythmic, trance-influenced tracks, this EP has it all; remarkably through only 6 songs. Dynamic and atmospheric, Cuir Bleu runs the trance/tech rock gamut.

Female artist is quite good-reminds me of New Wave
author: Anita Ann Draughon
I have enjoyed your CDs. Your music is very upbeat. I enjoyed your Spanish twist on one. You are very talented. Some of your music reminds me of new wave - you have a lot of energy in your style. When you give a Spanish touch which, I don't know if you're trying, I enjoy more. Your female artist is quite good. She follows the rhythm but keeps out in front. I enjoyed that. She seems to not let the style of music played interfere with her clarity. I write songs and sing myself but I'm not in her league. She pronounces her words well, and keeps her sounds inviting.
