    If you like toe tapping, wanna dance in the aisles or anywhere you can music, this is it. We heard Culann's Hounds in Pacific Grove at the PG Middle School at Christmas. They were FANTASTIC. Their CDs almost seem tame compared to a live performance. Almost. This is just plain FUN music and these kids really know how to present it.

    I bought this after hearing them on the Celtic Music Podcast (5 stars in itself). The whole CD is great - conatins a nice edge to the vocals that makes it all very "real" rather than commercial. Buy it, it's good for you. They're excellent.

    We have heard them live several times, if you close your eyes when listening to this CD, you'll swear you're in a pub somewhere in the west of Ireland, they reflect true trad in every note.

    Go out and catch a Hounds show today....well, if today is no good then maybe next week....but definetly check these guys out. They're the finest Trad Irish group representing on the West Coast. These guys can flat out play.....PERIOD!!!!!

    Culann's Hounds are by far the best Celtic band in the SF area, and this album catches a lot of their energy. The fiddle playing is super tight, and along with the flute and pipes, the sound is awsome.
