Righteous Culcha- a group whose name derives from their fusion of soul-touching gospel with head-bopping reggae-picks up where other groups fall short. Though there are currently a number of "conscious" songs on the market, many of those songs fall short by failing to introduce the listener to Christ. Righteous Culcha fills that void by featuring upbeat, Christ-centered music.

Vocalist Ian Hobson, Ruel Johnson and Collis Glasgow hail from Antigua, Jamaica and Guyana, respectively. Ian, a.k.a. "Messenjah", has a passion for delivering God's message through various types of music. Ruel, called "Teecha" for his ability to drop thought-provoking lyrics almost effortlessly, seeks to reach the common people by affirming their culture while giving God the praise. Collis, known as "Singin'C" for his track-enhancing vocals, seeks to use his talent to bring people to a knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Righteous Culcha's thrilling live performances often generate an energy that freely flows between the group and the listening audience. Fan favorites include original songs like "Unconditional Love" and "The Ten Commandments," as well as re-makes of well-known songs such as "Signs of the Times."

Having already been finalists at McDonald's Gospelfest and appeared on BET's Bobby Jones gospel television show, Righteous Culcha stands ready to humbly-yet boldly-take the gospel as far as God will allow them to go.
