Album Notes
"Cumbeley" is the band of Colombian musician and composer Joe Cumbe. "Guayabo Nostalgico" is a fascinating collection of original cumbias and vallenatos that describe the reality of the immigrants, with one foot in their new country and the other one in their old contry. The adventure and hope of the new and the longing for the culture, friends and land left behind. "Cumbeley" was voted the"Best Salsa Band" in Los Angeles, by the "L.A. Weekly" magazine in 2002.

Guayabo Nostalgico
This is an excellent album with contagious music that makes me play it over and over again! I especially love track 7 and am trying to transcribe all the words so I can sing along!
