John Denver is one of RCA’s top 5 recording artists of all time. His untimely death in 1997 was a tragedy that was felt the world over. Such a void in the musical world left John’s ardent world family demanding that the music survive. In due time, artists would come forward to fill the void left by America’s troubadour….that call was answered by Jim Curry; who has emerged as the top performer of John Denver’s vast legacy of popular music.

From “Country Roads” to “Thank God I’m a Country Boy,” Jim Curry has performed John Denver’s music in sold out shows throughout the country. The fact that a huge number of fans have attended Jim Curry’s John Denver Tribute Show has greatly surprised many promoters who were unaware of the masses of “baby boomers” who are still longing for live concerts of John Denver music.

Jim has amazed John Denver fans with his uncanny natural ability to mirror John’s clean-cut looks and crystal clear voice. Many have said “He is not an ‘Impersonator’ he is so natural, now I’m a Jim Curry Fan”. Fans are treated to a night of heartfelt music, to which they are invited to sing along. The blending of time tested hits along with new songs offers up a show that children, parents and grand parents can all enjoy together. The audience will sing, laugh, clap their hands and beg Jim for more.


“It was an amazing evening. We have had many different performers at our conferences; The Beach Boys, Tony Bennett, Three Dog Night, America. Jim Curry ranks among these acts. It was a full 90 minute show during an opening night welcome dinner. No one left the room during their performance. It ended in a standing ovation. I would book Jim and his band again in a heartbeat. His back-up musicians and singers, many former John Denver band members, were among the best we have ever heard.
