Album Notes

This is my follow-up to Cruel & Unusual, Where I Am was released in 2002 and it's a hodge-podge of vastly different styles & tastes, sort of like the Italian dish timpano only with less heartburn.

Early in November 2007, Ben Fong-Torres, co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine, contacted me about using the song of the same name (track 4) as part of his new radio show on KFRC in San Francisco. How could I possibly refuse?

My influences are Frank Black, Ween, Frank Zappa, Foo Fighters, Big Audio Dynamite, Public Image Limited, The Clash, and Elvis Costello.

So give it a listen; I'm sure there's something you'll like about it.
