Biography of C-WAY;

Sosiua Eva-I-Salt Lake Tongi also known as Siua (Cee-oo-uh), was born in Salt Lake City, UT raised in West Valley City, UT of Polynesian decent. His parents are from the friendly islands of Tonga and have engraved their cultural heritage of song and dance, and developed his love for music at a very young age.

His taste for music is inspired from his rich heritage of strong percussions mixed with spiritual harmony. He also grew up listening to musicians such as Sugar Hill Gang, Grand Master Flash and The Furious Five, E.P.M.D, NWA, West Side Connection, Notorious BIG, Naughty By Nature, Tupac and Bob Marley. At the age of 12, he started to write his own lyrics to instrumentals that made him feel good. Siua speaks fluent Spanish due to his two year religious service in Panama, broadening his genre of music.

After marrying the love of his life, Mary Kealoha Kauvaka (also known as Mary Mary) in 2005. He decided to put his passion for music to work and that is when the artist, C-WAY was born. For years, with the support of his wife and family, he started writing lyrics to his own songs. He established a family owned label with his brothers, “K'aint Stop Ent, LLC", which was made public in March 2011.

His authentic west coast flavor, brings back the 90’s feel and performs clean lyrical words. This allows anyone of all ages to enjoy his music. His debut performance was in front of over 600 people at Club 90 in Sandy, UT. After his debut performance, he has had shows booked every week, even twice at places and events such as: the U92 Radio Summer Jam, West Valley City Festival, Salt Lake County Festival and the Low Rider Magazine Tour 2011 in Las Vegas. He recently was interviewed on U92 as their artist spotlight of the month (Dec.2011) and on Dec.17.2011, he released his first album, “K'8in’t St0p Me1”, which can be purchased everywhere online.

From his humble beginnings, C-WAY understands the concept that hard work pays off. His strong foundation of family support has made him into the show stopping entertainer that he is. He will continue to pursue his goal to expand his music career to where he will positively influence every listening ear.
