Twelve new, original worship songs from the worship arts ministry at Crosspointe Church. This entire CD was recorded by volunteers from among the more than 75 artists that make up the worship arts team. ...from the liner notes of "Becoming Stones" We begin our lives much like rocks - seemingly worthless, hard and rough around the edges. But Jesus takes us, shapes us and molds us. As He carves us, we sometimes lose large pieces of our old selves, yet other times only small sins that hold us back. Through this process the Mason crafts us with great care, like a fine cut diamond, allowing us to take on our true character. Not simply because of who we are, but because of His plan for us to reflect His glory. Steadily, He shapes us into His image, placing us with great care into the exact place He has determined for us. He builds His church with stones like us, built solidly upon the foundation of the Chief Cornerstone. It is our prayer that the songs captured here serve to inspire all of us to worship our Creator God, the Mason who continues to shape us. It is by His grace that we are all becoming the stones that will make a pathway to lead others to Him."
