Inspired by the future, Cynergy 67 lives in a world that they create. Futuristic music and a futuristic show. Songs of relationships gone bad show the human element while songs of transformation show the machine side. Cynergy 67 are cyborgs with human souls.
VX-5 has spent years perfecting the sound and look of Cynergy 67. Along with guitarist Evo-1 they push forward leaving their mark on all crowds they meet. A heavy gig schedule has proven them a hard working unit ready to take on the road anytime. Cynergy 67 combines danceable music with a heavy edge. Just enough for the clubbers to dance and metal heads to rock.
The first full length demo, "New Machine", recorded in 2003, won them the honor of Best Electronic Album from the Madison Area Music Awards in March 2004. The second EP, "Activation" was released in 2005 and was received rather well- selling out the first order of cd's in one week. In 2006, the EP was re-releases as a limited edition - signed by the band and individually numbered - through Radio-Active-Music.com.
Cynergy 67 has picked up a few sponsors along the way such as Cryoflesh Clothing, Radioactive Energy Drink, Snap Jack guitar cables, Cyberoptix Clothing, Prohibition-UV Clothing, Switch Guitars, Drive Amps, Sinister Strings, and Monster Picks.
Some acts Cynergy 67 has toured with are Orgy, Godhead, Society 1, Celldweller, Powerman 5000, and Deadstar Assembly. Cynergy 67 is currently promoting their new DVD along with this EP, and will be gearing up for another CD, DVD, and massive tour in 2008.
