We are very proud of our CD Gonna Get Ya, full of all original material and are honored and happy to be a part of CDBaby.

We play DaBluz...what is DaBluz, you might ask? DaBluz is Texas blues with a pinch of Motown and a dash of jazz...that's DaBluz baby!

DaBluz Crew Bio's:
Ken Westeren, Guitarist, Song Writer, Producer, and founder of the band has a playing style that can be described as an original sound of straight-forward melodic blues guitar with just enough edginess. He has an original style of playing utilizing complex chord-structured leads, pristine with dynamics. It's those dynamics mixed with harmonies that have proven to compliment the groups lead vocals. Ken loves the blues and says "There is always something to learn. One Can never stop learning and improving. On stage, I speak my own language and people seem to understand me."

Susan Dunlap, Lead Vocalist, Veteran Entertainer, Song Writer, Recording Artist, and Producer thoroughly enjoys singing the blues. Her performances are filled with energy and intense emotion. With powerful and passionate vocals intertwined with a bit of sassiness, Sue moves audiences with each performance. Her heart and soul come out through every tune.
In addition to the blues, Sue's vocal experience includes concert choir, vocal jazz ensemble, women's beauty shop quartet and women's vocal trio.

Frank Carvalho, Veteran Musician, Singer, Song Writer, Bassist definitely keeps the train a movin' with his solid, rockin' bass lines. There is no doubt where the music is going when he lays down the groove. Frank's vocal talent is utilized as well. Several songs also feature Frank on harp, adding a great addition to the band's sound. He enjoys music and loves playing to a crowd. It is not uncommon to find Frank leaving the stage to groove with the audience.

Vance Bailey, Drummer, Professional Musician & Veteran Entertainer provides tight, "in the pocket" drums and has a "can-do" positive, professional attitude. He has added so much to the band's sound by delivering a solid beat, excellent timing, and consistency. Vance brings decades of experience and talent to the band and has played with the best!

Paul Towne, Saxophonist, aux. percussion, and band jester, started playing saxophone as third choice following guitar, and trumpet in elementary school. Paul played lead tenor for several local Sacramento and bay area groups.
