Album Notes

Da Clay presents the heart of a worshipper through passionate lyrics that demands the attention of all who have had the experience to hear him. He brings energy and fire all the while speaking with the boldness of a man on a mission to get this Gospel heard to the masses. On his highly anticipated CD titled “Genesis: My Life After His Death” he will have the chance to explode on the scene. Da Clay pours out his heart on tracks like “Ain’t Runnin No Mo” which cries out to God about fulfilling his destiny and on “War of the Worlds Remix” a follow up to the original “War of the Worlds” which has been circulating the underground gospel rap scene for a year now. This song features the melodic soul stirring sound of Tiffane’ which complements the flow of Da Clay perfectly. On the song “Focus” which is a bass banger for the speakers and food for thought, Da Clay switches to teaching mode as he encourages the believers to stay focused on their relationship with God and for unbelievers to gain a relationship with the Most High. While committing to stay unashamed of the God he serves, he makes this point clear on the track “Saved and Serious” which features Apaulsoul. With the live drums and high intensity the two artists deliver a potent message about being serious for their relationship with Christ. With production from Msimp of Kingdom Music Productions, UnknowN, and Base Jase of Illynoise Music to name a few there’s a beautifully vast array of styles from worship to smooth classical hip hop, to reggae and Da Clay brings it on every song! He teamed up with Mr Q. and Puntin on the track “Who You Represent” which will have even the hardest to please listener reciting the lyrics. On “Dats the Gospel” featuring fellow Double Edge Sword Records label mate UnknowN they let people know what they are preaching about. If you’re looking for a versatile album full of poignant lyrics, full of passion and enthusiasm then look no further than “Genesis: My Life After His Death by Da Clay”.
