Album Notes

The recordings to dago - sounds for a blue planet took place between 1995 and 2001 in ten different studios allover Europe with alltogether 13 musicians. The outcome of this project is something special: a groovy and pulsating instrumental mix of souljazz basslines (Steven Toeteberg/Béla Lattmann), sparkling guitars (Dagobert Böhm), Soprano Sax and flute (Tony Lakatos), 5-string violin ( Zoltán Lantos) and a lot of exotic percussion by Kornél Horváth, combined with drumloops and sampled beats. The excellent sound is well-rounded with some vocal tracks.
A Smooth-Jazz-World-Pop-Fusion-Chill Out Highlight! It is fun to listen to this new and not only instrumental music. For further informations: www.ozellamusic.com

The Critics
"There are some albums that grab your attention from the first second after you press the play button - that happened with this album... this is an album that is NOT going to be removed from the player easily. Dago has put together a bewitching mix of world music influences, acoustic instruments [with a dash of electricity here and there] and real honest to God tunes that you end up humming.
John M. Peters the borderland

Bohm is among a select few imaginative acoustic guitarists in jazz. Bohm’s work constantly is relaxed, picturesque filled with dreamy images. Merrill C. Lehrer, USA Today
