Chicago based Dago Red is back & ready to rock the world!!

After a short hiatus filled with red wine, pasta, traveling the old country & doing many other extra curricular activities that we can’t talk about…. The boys put their brain cells back together for one more run at the rock & roll title! This time around it’s the three original band members from the Jimson Weed days, Jim Amitrano, Frank Granucci, Joe Schnoebelen & new drummer Sal Gatto. Jim & Frank have been working together on music for over a decade, when Joe called up and said you gotta check out this drummer I’ve been jamming with. With their old drummer Mike Dizonno moving on to another music project (Wake of Aces) the band wishes him the best. Jim & Frank said what the hell & decided to get together with Joe & Sal & things just exploded! They wrote 12 new songs in three months!! When people heard their new stuff they were amazed!! Their raw energy & unique rock n roll sound are back and better than ever!! After a couple of shows everyone was telling them to keep it going & get this stuff recorded ASAP!! Well they listened & their new CD on Cellar Records is set to come out early 2008. The band hit it over 10 years ago with their first CD Jimson Weed. They followed that up with their Cellar Records debut High Class White Trash & toured for over 3 years. With new high-energy songs like Out of Control, Rabidtitus, Time To Go, Snakes In LA and their over the top live shows, Dago Red is ready to give you a Knock Out Punch & take over the Rock & Roll WORLD!!!!!!!!!
