Album Notes

Based in Houston, Texas, Daily Bread Dub, a.k.a. Mystic Mike and Jah Son I, have been creating, recording, performing, and producing reggae for over a decade. Heavily influenced by 70's era dub reggae producers and musicians, the two brothers have managed to forge their own unique sound made up of deep bass, jolting drum lines, and captivating melodies which are mixed and mashed with massive amounts of swirling effects and reverb. Warm yet sharp, rocking yet smooth, their sound has both rootsy elements and in your face / take no prisoners attitude. Staying true to their underground / DIY style, DBD's music is unpredictable, unbalanced, and dirty; never clean.
