Album Notes

"For an acoustic set, strikingly raw and full-blooded"

After the stark recollections of moribund relationships, chronicled on debut album 'And There Shall Be None', Daisy Chapman returns with an altogether more varied and mature, full-bodied album that offers more hope, rather than promises of the shadows closing in. 'The Green Eyed' still carries the bleak weight of its predecessor, but it has also
added colour and vitality via the addition of sweeping strings and the soft rumble of bass, together with some guitar and drums.

Daisy's music is well travelled. Germany has welcomed her across the channel countless times, not to mention a brief Californian tour where Daisy graced the corners of coffee houses up and down the Highway 1. Closer to home, Daisy has performed at festivals, both indoors and out, is a household name in her home town of Bristol in the South West and can also be spotted on stage with her band Scarlatti Tilt, and as the stand-in pianist in Invada Records' Crippled Black Phoenix.
