Album Notes

Dakota Sid Clifford is a rare bird these days. Troubadour, folk singer, word slinger, a legendary folk rumor who stands knee deep in tradition and takes the values of yesterday and the issues of today and demands that you pay attention and do it now.
Clifford sings of the faces and places he’s seen, of small towns and romance, of Nevada in the rain, of the roads he’s run ( some he’s remembered and some he’d rather not), of love and hope and home.
No, more than hope, a call to act, to not give up what’s left of your precious Earth. Not to sell it out and sell it off, to stand up and be counted, to demand “We Want The Whole Thing Back.”
Joining Sid are his son Travers, U. Utah Phillips, Nina Gerber, Buddy Craig, the late Marilyn Doty, Bruce Wheelock, Luke Wilson and the ever amusing Pointless Sisters.
I heartily recommend this recording to anyone interested in something of value.
