Album Notes

Alison Faith Levy is one of San Francisco\'s most exciting and versatile singer/songwriters. She has fronted her own group, played piano with the Loud Family and written film scores. She has released two solo CDs (which are available here on CDBaby).

In addition, she is a member of The Sippy Cups, a San Francisco group which performs and records cover songs for children and their parents. Most recently she has teamed with Camper Van Beethoven alumnus Victor Krummenacher to form the acoustic duo McCabe and Mrs. Miller.

*************

Dale Miller began recording in the mid 1970s on Kicking Mule Records, a small but extremely prestigious and influential company that specialized in solo guitar LPs. He was their best selling American based artist before they closed down in the mid 1980s. Subsequently he has released three CDs on his own Dale Miller Productions label (which are available here on CDBaby). He has also written and performed a film score, written two book/CD combos for Mel Bay Publications and written articles for various music magazines.

As a frustrated singer, he has always enjoyed working with vocalists. Alison has been a perfect fit because they have nearly identical musical tastes. On this EP length CD they perform jazz, country and blues standards.
