Album Notes

Dalia is an independent singer/songwriter based out of the Twin Cities. Though much of the music she plays is acoustic, she’s also done collaborations with many other artists within the Twin Cities hip hop community, most notably Kanser. She bridges the gap between acoustic and hip hop, and many who try to describe her style have a hard time placing her into any one specific category. Her debut album “Treetops and Telephone Wires” was released in December 2007. It has an airy, ambient feel, featuring rhythmic acoustic guitar accompanied by soft, breathy vocals as well as a few guest appearances.

“If there is such a thing as acoustic hip-hop, Dalia does a fine job of demonstrating the combination.”

- Stephanie Snell (The Wake Magazine, February 2008)
