Album Notes

San Francisco native, Dallis Craft 's debut CD appropriately titled, Leap Of Faith, is an eclectic blend of Americana stylings, built around 12 great original songs with beautiful arrangements, powerful vocals, and masterful musicianship, in a presentation which makes it stand out as a high-tech yet refreshingly truthful production.
Aided and abetted by her fine band, "Leap of Faith" showcases Dallis' stunning vocals on a variety of rootsy originals, with elements ranging from pop to blues, bluegrass to gospel. The CD features a roster of friends and local luminaries like Jules Broussard, John Lee Sanders, James Pugh (Robert Cray), Hershel Yatovitz (Chris Isaak), Andy Sturmer (Jellyfish), and producer/musician Bruce Kaphan (American Music Club, David Byrne, Jewel). But the real star of "Leap of Faith" is Dallis' voice. World-class vocalist--world-class music.
Brief Artist Bio:
As a keyboard/ rhythm guitar player and vocalist, Dallis has performed and toured with K.T. Oslin, David Frizzell, Mandy Barnett, and world-wide with actor Bruce Willis as a featured vocalist in his band, The Accelerators.
She can be heard on numerous recordings including those of Melvin Seals, PeeWee Ellis, Huey Lewis & The News, John Lee Sanders and Jesse Colin Young. National television commercials include AT&T, Red Lobster and Rice-a-Roni. She can be seen and heard in Wal-Mart stores nationwide in a series of in-store commercial videos, "The Wal-Mart TV Network." She has also been seen opening for such notables as Shawn Colvin, Steve Winwood and Dwight Yoakam to sold out amphitheater crowds, and many more country, rock, and pop headliners .
While living and working in Nashville, as a session vocalist and keyboardist, she performed in the house band for the nationally acclaimed Western Beat Roots Revival, a weekly live radio broadcast of Americana music, where she enjoyed working with many new as well as established artists. Such a creative and supportive environment served to enhance her songwriting skills.
Now back in the San Francisco Bay Area, she continues to write, record and perform live for her "faithful" following.
