Personal statement:
I feel very strongly that one of the most important elections in the history of our country is close at hand. I believe that we need to rise above pessimism and let our voices be heard this November 4th. We can begin to shape our destiny to our vision of what it should be. The one thing that everyone seems in agreement with, regardless of party line, is that we need change. You have probably noticed a great deal of spin in much of the media, which often ignores the core issues and introduces irrelevant and far-fetched fear techniques that have worked in the past, but this time more people are savy to them. If you have not yet heard the candidates in their own words, both presidential and vice presidential (more important than ever before) please watch the Presidential debates and VP debates, both easily viewable online. This is important, rather than basing your decisions on speeches written by speechwriters with little input from the candidates themselves or editorials by people or organizations often with a vested financial interest in one candidate, regardless of the financial interest of the country as a whole. Please join with me to vote for the change that we really need.
