Album Notes

The story on how The Damn Automatics got together is pages long, but all members were friends before band mates. They played around in other local bands until fate and the right timing of breakups and hardships finally brought them together. This chemistry makes for a dynamic that pushes and pulls yet gels with an uncertain ease.

Hailing from Orange County, CA the band has been described in reviews as everything from a Rock & Roll Nirvana to Cheap Trick on steroids. Creatively they agree music is in a terrible place right now and feel it should to go back to the basics of sing along songs and great live shows.

The Damn Automatics have had music placed on major networks like NBC, WB, Canadian TV, all MTV shows and video games and worked on submissions for Kohls, Motorola, Wendys, Coca Cola, and various others. Two songs are currently up for the new NBC series Knight Rider.

The one common denominator all people have agreed on is a tight, driving rhythm section, two lead guitars that compliment each other with melodic, strong vocals and backed with tight harmonies.

Winning over new fans with hard work has been the main focus as of late. Touring up and down Southern California and even going as far as Florida to play music for the World Paintball Tour has broadening the fan base while playing successful self-promoted So Cal shows at the House of Blues, Viper Room and the Key Club Hollywood.

The band has just finished new recordings at NRG studios and will be pressing CDs and playing at a stadium near you. Bring Back Big Rock!!
