"There is a soft cry that our hearts make every time we come to a crossroad in our lives. The weeping is a voice whispering to us that something's got to change. Too often do we neglect the gentle undertone of hope and in loneliness we continue forward on the temporary road of familiarity and self righteousness. A road on which we feel we are on a continual process of leaving: home, family, friends, life, and this world. A few years ago I made the choice to take that crossroad...that Blessed Road. I decided to no longer walk alone, afraid, unsure, and in unbalanced control. I desired to walk with a God who waits, a God who will take me as I am, a God who will hide me in His arms, a God who will delight in my weaknesses, a God who will humble my passions, a Maker of my days who will come every time I call, and lift me up like a bird in the winds. It is on this path that I have found myself no longer in the process of leaving; instead, I have begun the continuous journey of coming home. So here's my life...coming home." - Dan Smith

An amazing album about falling in love with the Lord

When I first listened to the song Coming Home I just started crying since Dan and Lauren were singing about how I feel so often. It is so amazing to have a God that welcomes us with open arms full of love. What a splendid debut album that will stay in my CD player for many years. The lyrics describe the struggels and tears Christian's face, but also the joy we have in the Lord. I am blessed to know Dan with the gifts that God has given to him. Lauren- keep singing to Jesus with all your heart and soul.
