Dan David, Canadian Songwriter/violinist Extraordinaire started the violin at age 6. He developed Perfect Pitch since childhood and was accepted to McGill's faculty of music on a full scholarship.
While Classically trained, Dan later discovered his hidden gift for songwriting (in his teens) and began writing new songs where the violin is the voice of the music and where he expanded the boundaries of the violin by combining a new rock, pop and unique Celtic feel to most of the songs - all which have a great message to express. Dan has developed a unique style of playing and writing, one that can describe his music as the Cranberries meet John Lennon. Dan David is a Canadian artist paving the way to a new style of rock.
The Right Place, his first release, led to interviews by papers such as the Liberal, Economist, and more including TV shows and countless performances as the fan base grew.
In December 18, 2007, Dan David released his second CD, There's Peace, the PERFECT follow up to this one. Dan David's second CD got distribution with Indigo Chapters and more updates can be found on his website or through google
