NOW! evokes the thoughts and sounds of North African folk music, European Classical music and most of all, American jazz. This music is, above all, a forum for musical dialogue about the cultures of the world, and the music that flows from the spirit of communal creation.

Dan Dorff is a drummer, percussionist and pianist. As a session and touring drummer he has worked with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, SubPop sensation Daniel Martin Moore, Don Rickles, the Jazz Circle and Nick Lachey's Team Cincinnati.
In other percussive capacities (hand drums, bells, whistles, household items), he has worked with the London cast of the off-broadway sensation STOMP as well as making peoples feet move with latin dance bands such as Tropicoso, Salsa Caliente, and with singer Legend Vega. Dan also co-founded the Cincinnati based drums-and-brass dance band the "Queen City Zapatistas", as well as the Chicago based "General Issue Brass Band"
As a pianist and keyboardist Dan tours with Chicago Based ska band Deal's Gone Bad, and works with the Hubbard St. Dance Company as an accompanist when he's at home.
NOW! Is Dan's first album as a leader.
He currently resides in Chicago where it is sunny and warm every day.
