Apostle Perry Dangerfield, Jr., is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is the Pastor and Founder of "Ear of The Anointed Eye Ministry." The church name is the end result of 21-day fast and Biblical verse principles in Ephesians 1:18 and Revelation 2:13. Apostle Dangerfield was anointed and blessed with a voice to sing at an early age of four. Although he possessed that gift, his first love was and still is the Word of God (Sound Doctrine). He was the pioneer in establishing churches in areas such as Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Philadelphia, New York, and Louisiana. Apostle Dangerfield is also the Vice President of Uncle Planter God Fellowship in Lake Charles and in Lusaka, Zambia (Central Africa). Apostle contributes everything about himself to the Almighty God. He has dedicated over thirty plus year in the ministry. His walk has been one of uncompromising dedication in the soundness of God's Word as written in the Bible. God has blessed him in all the Gifts of the Spirit. At age 52, he now is releasing his first Gospel CD called "Holy Ghost Power." Through all his travels and gifts of the Spirit, he has truly waited on the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct his path concerning this CD. He currently resides in Lake Charles with his wife Audrey and their nine grown children.
Willie P. Guidry, Jr. (Legendary Bill Parker) is also a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He began in the music industry as a trumpet player but the "lip swelling" quickly directed him to another instrument. He chose the playing of drums which proved to be to his liking. His rapid fame as a drummer lead him to tour the world with Universal Attraction such as Jackie Wilson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Willie Johns, Sam Cook, The Coasters, Buddy Ace, Joe Hinton, etc. Needless the say the list is endless. You name it - Bill Parker did it. He later moved to the west coast and formed his new band called"The Concrete Band," touring with Bobby Blue Bland and many others. He discovered Carol Shinnette recording artist there also. Some of the record credits are Jabor, Goldband, and Show Boat. He later formed Optune Records. As a jazz/blues player/composer, Bill has over 160 songs to his credit some of which can be heard on his CD's called ""Wooden Head Puddin Head Joon" and "Gotta Go To Work" on Goldband Records. Now at age 74, with over fifty years in the music industry, Bill is still playing and composing music. Bill currently resides in Lake Charles with his wife Marva and their 6-yr old daughter Quintessa.
Apostle Dangerfield and Bill met on Thanksgiving Day 2001 not planned but the end result is the creation of sixteen songs in two months. Bill no longer plays jazz but you can hear some jazz/blues/zydeco flavor in some of the songs. The CD contains a diversity of songs for all ages featuring "Tragedy" which give tributes to September 11, 2001 tragedy.
