has been in the music industry the majority of his life. recording his first rap record with a group named thob mob.
robert attending langston university ,in langston,oklahoma,after putting his educational goals to the side, he recorded with a local group named partners in rhyme. they released the classic "cold chillin in the middle."the record sold over 20,ooo copies,this popularity allowed for performances with some the of big names acts of today.

every artist , to reach the ultimate level of success , has to emerge from the pack(ice cube.scarface,justin timberlake,juvenile.)d-rob has emerged from the pack starting his own label f.r.e.e.d.a.m. records in 1995. he released his solo debut bakkk from the middle distributed throughout the midwest.

1999. d-rob second album "at tha bank" was released ,sparking a fuse for rob. rated by murder dog magazine as one the best independent albums of the year.

2003. d-rob`s third solo album take off were he in 1991. "grind til u shine". "i have grown as an artist and producer and prepared to take the game to another level"

2005. the new album "d.o.a..dangerous on arrival. is set to put oklahoma on the hip hop map. because "cold chillin in th middle aint easy> also early fall s.i.s.t.a featuring the best of dangerous rob`s work from 1990-2005;
