Daniel DeAguero, smooth jazz guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and producer, is best known for his unique blend of fluid guitar solos and latin rhythms. With over three decades as a recording artist, Daniel has recorded eight albums – Four Latin albums and four smooth Jazz albums.
DeAguero’s “Lo Sabes” album received the Critic’s Choice Award from Billboard Magazine. Chosen as the “Critic’s Choice” in the August 10 1998 Reviews & Previews section (page 40), John Lannert writes… “A passionate guitarist with an appealing feather-soft baritone, DeAguero purveys a smart brand of jazz-tinged Latino pop suitable for progressive Spanish pop stations as well asl open-minded US AC outlets..."
Night Groove, recorded in the late 80’s and early 90’s and released in 1993, was a Daniel’s first contemporary jazz project. Night Groove features both guitar and sax solos in an interesting blend of contemporary jazz and fusion set to Latin rhythms.
Airborne, recorded in 1995, is a smoother Latin Jazz instrumental collection, release in 1996. Various tracks feature guitar, sax and piano solos.
Colorado Sunset, recorded in the late 90’s and released in 2001, is an instrumental smooth jazz collection sure to please. This project is a bit of a departure from the last two Latin jazz projects, featuring a nice blend of romantic ballads and radio-friendly smooth jazz instrumentals.
Can you feel it?, recorded in 2008, is a Smooth Jazz instrumental collection, released in 2009. This mainstream smooth jazz project features both guitar and sax solos along with Latin rhythms on some of the tracks.
