Album Notes

The Daniel Grade were a 5 piece indie/rock band from the early 90's. This 7 track CD is a remastered retrospective containing their one and only release, the 3 track 12" Pest EP, and 4 previously unreleased songs.

Their sound is best described as chord heavy piano merged with distorted guitar and bass. Suntrap was the song that created the most interest at the time, receiving repeated airplays on the Annie Nightingale and Mark Radcliffe shows on radio 1.

The Daniel Grade fit almost perfectly into that early 90's scene, which included bands such as Ride, Chapterhouse, Supergrass, Fatima Mansions, The Cranberries, The Boo Radleys, New Fast Automatic Daffodils, 5.30, and Intastella.
