D.I.G are a four piece outfit consisting of some of Montreal's top live & session musicians, joining forces with indie singer/songwriter Daniel Iorio.

Their first CD together, "Hike", is a self-produced effort boasting 12 melodious tracks, chronicalling, rather whimsically, the trials and tribulations many artists endure to do what they love. Coupled with some themes touching on Buddhist tenets, existentialism, death, self-doubt, fear, metaphysics, realization & awareness, "Hike" manages to present itself as unassuming and without presumption.

I've been following Daniel Iorio's music for several years now. In this album, Daniel adds another dimension to his already considerable catalog. Hike is a journey through experience by an experienced and thoughtful song writer. Great production and a full sound compliments Daniel's unique vocal abilities. The musicians assembled on the this project is first rate all the way. The results of tender loving care applied to the mixes are quite audible as each piece is expertly coached into place in the track. Just a joy to hear again and again.
