Hey Y'all. Thats northern California slang for howdy. Well, heres Dani Walkers' first CD. Its a good one! I had the honor of producing it for her. The project was handed to me by Jim Herndon out of Mobile Alabama. I got paid a flat fee. So when i tell you this cd's great? Its becos' i really think so. Once we picked 10 songs from her endless list of originals, i started to feel like i was working w/ a complete throw back . These songs are not like the new style country. This is like real country and western. A fellow producer was needling me about Dani Walker,wanting to know how she writes this stuff? I told him shes like if you cross't Merle Haggard w/ Meryl Streep? Thats what shes like.. Pretty and nice..but shes got that merle thing. Tough or tender. Hey, thats the truth as i know it to be.
