Album Notes

Dan Junk

Dan was given his first guitar at age 14. That gift was the beginning of his career as a musician.

He began playing in clubs, as a lead guitarist, at age 19. He continued his love for music by leaning how to play other instruments. First the sax, then the flute, bass guitar, mandolin, dobro, fiddle and keyboards.

Dan has played a variety of music with various bands, has performed in Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina and in many cities in Florida. He was the lead guitarist for a band that opened for Charlie Pride in Maryland, gigs included festivals in various states, weddings and private parties.

Dan has also worked with other musicians on their recording projects.

"Which Way" is his first solo recording project. He played all instruments with exception of the drums, wrote the music and lyrics and did all the arranging on this project.

He did the recording at his studio in Florida. Teamed up with Fred Migliore to produce this project at F.M. Odyssey' studio in Merritt Island, Florida.

I have just listened to "Which Way" and was impressed by this multi talented artist. The flute work on his songs was great. His style of music a surprise. I look forward to listening to any other cd he may release. Good luck with your musical career. Joan

Excellent debut album!
author: Doug Morris, Founder, Indie Music Appreciation Group
This is a heck of an effort for a young man to do it all and have it come out so well! My selections for "best songs" on this album would be "Antarctica", "Side Step", "Love Has Found Me", "Bag Of Tricks", "Illumination", "Heat Of Passion", "After Sundown", and my choice for best vocal track is "The Mighty Warrior." All in all, I think this is very fine album, especially for a debut album and especially considering that it was one person doing it all, composition, instrumentals, and vocals! I can recommend this album to anyone who likes good guitar mixed with wind and keyboard instruments in a relaxed, easy-listening format. Well done Mr. Junk!

Extremely well done and great variety of artists talent.

I was pleasantly surprised by the various talent of the artist to switch from Jazz to Rock and then onto assorted easy listening music along with a few other wild cards on the CD as well. At the end there is also a hidden track which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend this CD.
