“Singing has always been a passion for me and country music has always been my genre of choice. It is especially rewarding to look out over an audience and see that my songs are making a connection with the people”.


Dan Mason was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia and raised in nearby Isaac’s Harbour, Guysborough County. The people of this rural community prefer their music country style and this upbringing formed the basis for Dan’s love and respect for country music.

Fans say that Dan possesses the pure country vocals of country legends like Alan Jackson, George Strait and Merle Haggard and he combines it with a songwriting ability that touches the heart and soul.

Dan has played in a variety of venues including bars, community centers, churches, courthouses, resorts, NASCAR events, County Fairs etc - just about anywhere people wanted to hear him sing.

His recent self titled debut CD is a collection of 12 original songs that cover all the traditional country music themes including love, cheatin’, and loneliness. He is currently garning interest from East Coast Country radio and he is always “chaffing at the bit” to take his music to country music fans everywhere.
