The first solo CD from singer/songwriter Dan Merrill.

Recorded in Nashville and produced by Michael Corbett, Revolution reveals the early potential of this award winning singer and songwriter. This strong freshman release followed Dan’s winning of the “Newfolk” songwriters award at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas in 1995.( It contains the two songs which garnered that performance and award: Katherine and I’ll Get There). Dan would later in his career be awarded the Male Vocalist of the Year by the worlds largest independent music organization, JPF, in 2006 .

Hold Me [Like a Lover] would later be re-recorded by the group Simon Apple (with Dan singing) and climb to #10 on the adult contemporary radio charts- as recorded by FMQB in Dec of 2005.

Revolution features:

Dan Merrill: Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitars
Michael Corbett: Keyboards, Percussion, Programming, Drums
Al Boomer: Drums
Don Kerce: Bass
Barney Martin, Brian Johnson: Backing Vocals
Nick Nguyen: Guitar Solo on Sad Affair
