Album Notes

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Danny Barca has been writing songs since he got his first guitar at the age of 14. His musical meanderings have taken him through many styles- Folk, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Classical, Broadway, etc. as a singer, instrumentalist, and composer. He recently made the decision to leave the dance music behind and focus on writing and performing all original songs. This is his true passion, and the songs come from this wide background of styles. These songs speak of the beauty of the human spirit, the sometimes humerous twists and turns of life, and our eternal connection to the divine. As many of his songs speak of Spiritual themes, he has been performing a lot at New Thought churches, though he often performs at folk festivals and other more secular venues.
He has produced 2 CDs; "No Separation" in 2004, and "A Certain Light" in 2006.
