Once in a great while, a very special singer comes along; Danny B. King is that kind of artist. His unique ability to write and sing fresh melodies delights audiences everywhere. Danny travels the country roads of America with guitar and pen in hand spreading the good news of the true risen Lamb of God and touching the hearts and souls of all who hear him. The breadth and depth of Danny’s lovely lyrics mingle with magnificent melodies, deeply stirring the heart and refreshing the soul. With a warm and distinctive character, Danny sweeps his audiences into his songs as though they were written around their own feelings and experiences. Danny was raised in a small community and attended church near Brownsville, Tennessee. His musical background is a product of his diverse performances in various choirs, churches and tours with his own band.
On Sept. 5th,2003 God spoke to Danny’s heart, providing him with the answer to one of his life long quests- finding God’s will for his life. Out of this experience was born “The Great I Am”, his new cd which has had two national releases both of which climbed the national charts. Writing is a conscious focus and emphasis for Danny. This is evident in the many beautiful lyrics that he has crafted over the years. His swelling base of fans is due to the special appeal of his music to a wide range of audiences. Danny’s music and lyrics touch them right where they are, bringing them a moment of joy and encouragement, inspiring their daily lives.
